How to measure for perfect fit

How to Measure for Rings, Bracelets, and Other Jewelry

Finding Your Perfect Fit

Ensure your handcrafted jewelry fits comfortably with these easy measuring tips for rings, bracelets, and more.

Rings: Use a printable ring size chart or wrap a thin strip of paper around your finger, marking where it overlaps. Measure the length in millimeters against a ruler to find your size. Measure at the end of the day when fingers are slightly larger for accuracy.

Bracelets: For bangles, measure your hand’s widest part (around the knuckles) with a flexible tape measure or string, keeping it snug.  Add 1/4 to 1/2 inch for comfort. Our bypass bangles have a little "give" to them, so you have a bit more flexibility in size. For chain bracelets, measure your wrist and add 1/2 to 1 inch depending on your desired fit.

Other Pieces: Necklaces vary by preference—use a string to test lengths (e.g., 16” for chokers, 18–20” for standard). For earrings, consider face shape and personal style; our horseshoe nail designs are lightweight and versatile.
